RSM Classic – betting tips 64

JT Poston had a tricky rookie season on the PGA Tour, missing out on a card after finishing 132nd on the FedEx Cup but high enough to earn status for these weaker Fall events. jt poston

The 24-year-old is making the most of his opportunities. He finished T4 at the Shriners Open and followed it up with another good performance in the OHL Classic. Still searching for his first professional win, this is a player who makes the most of his starts.

Two season ago he began the year with no status whatsoever and fought his way through the Web.com Tour, so don’t be surprised if he somehow fashions another opening in Sea Island this week. Solid throughout the bag, he can make an impact this week.

1pt each-way JT Poston at 100/1 Boylesports (6 places; 1/5 odds)

you are correct…corals have now taken it down…im not sure how they are going to play this scenario out as i have deff got FRL on david hearn…hoping hes on the easier of the courses ? im in negotiation with them seen as i have him as first round leader with the guys who are on his course only is what im arguing the toss about….its all bye the bye though as wang will probably double boggie the first hole in Dubai lol

    lets see

It took a 5 man play off to win this last year.
That should never have been the case.
I mean an 18 inch putt to win …and missed !!!
No wonder Billy Horschel skips this years event.
Wouldnt you know I had him backed 😨
Mackenzie Hughes is 100/1 to repeat and could be a value e/w betting option.
Difficult to be confident of anyone really but must pick some guys for investment.
    Im tempted by Bubba 60/1 but his game looks to be in a mess. Ive settled on ;
    Bud Cauley…….66/1
    Sean O Hair……80/1
And Mackenzie Hughes 100/1 in defence.

my whinging has paid off if any body is interested in a first round leader market on the RSM

corals have now opened up a FRL on each of the courses now seen as robbie quite correctly pointed out there mistake as the first 2 days are played over the SEASIDE COURSE & PLANTATION course. normally the seaside one is harder due to winds but it seems to bring up conflicting reports on that…but the wind is down this week so no worries on that score. i got david hearn at 125-1 on the so called harder track…hes now 50’s so happy days there….he has carded a 64 around that one…hope for some more of that then please

    Europe—-The Final Countdown—-Great Song !
    England v Spain !
Tommy , Justin or Sergio ?

Looks like Rose slipped up by skipping last week. Having said that,Fleetwood’s lead looks a bridge to far for in form Rose and its very unlikely Garcia will win the Harry Varden Trophy.
So who is likely to win this tournament ?
One golfer Im keeping an eye on is Soren Kjeldsen. Last week in his second round he dropped 7 shots in 3 holes scoring 7 ,4 , 8 at three par 4’s. Admiringly he soldiered on to finish with a 78. He played very good golf in the final rounds and ended up tied 12th. That to me showed great fight and I have a feeling He might be up there challenging come sunday.
The field is strong. Very strong. Another i like is Thomas Pieters who was placed last time out for me.As an outsider, pricewise anyway, is
Paul Dunne. Slow start , good finish last week
    Soren Kjeldsen……50/1
    Thomas Pieters….40/1
    Paul Dunne…………66/1
    Each Way all three.
Posting here because no DP page open yet.

Sean – hope you are ok.

Was reading your earlier post about being on Horschel last year when he blew up.
I remember it well because I was on him too.
Firstly, I can’t believe it was a year ago, and secondly I’m not sure he had a two footer to win it, I think he missed a two footer at the 2st extra hole to be eliminated in a five man playoff that went to the Monday.
Of course I might be wrong….
      Either way, painful.

      • sean

Spot on Dodger sorry I thought it was to win it but yeah it was painful to watch.
Under the weather at present with bad chest infection. Not getting much sleep. Plenty of golf to watch later.
Good Luck this weekend and thanks.

I actually think it was an 18incher for poor Billy remember it well I had Villegas in the play-off the swine! Monday finish where did that 12 months go?

Kraft FRL into Wang FRL into Simin Feng she seems high at 80-1 on the weeker ladies

    Wang FRL into Feng

  • Dodger

Can’t believe how the years go by,

    Anyway,

Main bet here is on Beau Hossler – form
Is strong and has played well by the sea before.

S W Kim – in good form – trending the right way.

Bill McGirt – slowly finding form

B Stuard – finished well last week.

Annoying last week, looked at Kizzire but passed him over.

    Oh well

      In the Tour Championship

I really like the look of Hatton – his form has held up well, and was 2nd here a year ago.

I have a sneaky feeling for Alex Noren this week, seems to be playing well again.

Had a smaller wager on Olesen & Bjerregaard.

Not got a great feel for this event so keeping stakes a bit lower.
Had a good look this week at 3 at the head of the betting (kisner, harmon, simpson) and can see an angle for all 3 playing well but as I’m having less on and the prices are 20/1 and under I’m giving them a pass (Simpson would be the main fancy).
I’ve went with a couple of inform guys and a few with good short game skills.

    Scott Brown 45/1
    Whee Kim 66/1
    Luke Donald 100/1
    Padraig Harrington 125/1
    Peter malnati 250/1

  • Craig h

With the way my bets have been going in recent weeks (last week i bet 7 players between the 2 tours and had 6 top 20’s and zero returns) I’ve took a different angle in to this week’s event in Dubai.
I’ve done a top 20 acca which pays 12.5/1 with Rose, Garcia, Grace, Fitzpatrick, Hatton and Dubuisson.
I’ve got a feeling this could end up being a replay of this year’s masters with Rose and Garcia going head to head down the stretch so I’ve done 2 e/w bets in a bet without Rose, Garcia and Rahm.

    Charl schwartzel 20/1
    Paul Dunne 50/1

    As always good luck all.
